Fourth straight loss knocked the Saints out of NFC playoff photo
The New Orleans Saints have been a staple of the annual NFL playoff tournament, having won the NFC South four years in a row and have consistently competed for playoff glory. But they are far from returning to the mix after losing four losses in a row. At this point, with a mediocre 5-6 record and two teams ahead of them with tiebreakers, the Saints aren’t even in the projected image of the NFC playoffs. They sit tenth in the seven-team playoff standings. They are third in their division.
Here’s what the current NFC playoff standings look like for the weekend, taking into account all three Thanksgiving games:
